John Markowitz provides analytic and investment banking support for the issuance of TIF and land secured bonds to finance infrastructure for real estate development. Mr. Markowitz has over five years of public finance experience. His responsibilities include quantitative analysis, credit analysis, deal execution, proposal and presentation writing, and document review. He is involved in the expansion of TIF and land secured usage in a number of states helping to make Stone & Youngberg the national leader in land secured and TIF financing.
Mr. Markowitz is active in the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA), Virginia Government Finance Officers’ Association (VGFOA) and the Virginia Economic Developers Association. He is a frequent speaker at CDFA and VGFOA.
Mr. Markowitz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia. He holds NASD Series 53 and 62 licenses.
